i have a 98 pontaic sunfire this thing i have fixed it up there SHOULD be nothing wrong with this car. the only thing i can think that is wrong is the transmission and i hope to god its not the transmission and when it hesitates it makes a real loud sound i have a system in this car and i can hear it over the subs it sounds like its struggling but i have replace the exaust system the starting and charging system the whole engine has been rebuilt fuel system is new suspention (except for the rear struts) is new Brake system is new the cooling and ac system is newand i just dont know of anything else it could be plz help im desperate (if i think of anything else i will post it to).
yeah there is no noise but when i take off it just makes a loud noise like creaking door only louder and no it does not try to move and it ussually doesent do it when the cars been drivin for more than a hour

well- I can get c and D once I figure out B but for some reason I cannot get it...

Anyways I figured out the answer for the problem myself a couple of days ago..its actually quite easy- I was using the wrong angle you see. Nevertheless- you were the only person that answered so i lle give you best answer

I posted in here a little while ago about my 2000 Grand Am bottoming out (LOUD knocking sound heard/felt) over bumps. Most said it was probably struts- and GM confirmed this after a road test..so they replaced both rear struts. But It s STILL bottoming out! What s even more strange is that when I take the car out of reverse or park- put it in drive and go- it feels like the wheels are rubbing against something..and there s a bit of a "thump" then there s a loud squeaky noise from the brakes for a few seconds.
My question is..what else is causing the bottoming out??? I just spent $600 with labour to replace the rear struts It s scary to the point where I don t want to drive the car anymore because the sound is so loud/distracting that my nerves are literally shot. Anyone know?
