I got in2 an accident w/ my 2003 Toyota Celica GT 90-704 mi. (power everything- moonroof- cloth seats- auto etc) Well now my insurance wants to call it a total loss and payoff my bank loan and give me the difference of what the car is worth BUT!!! theres a little problem because the crash was in the front of the car (up to the radiator only) and they dont want to let me put back the car s stock items for example i put in my Clarion radio- my carbon fiber rims (which im still paying for)- my carbon fiber strut bar-my carbon fiber tail lights- and my angel eye headlights (which i was told i definetly wouldn t get back bc it had some damage) but all of these things i paid for and i have the ORIGINALS for that are PERFECTLY fine and can go back in. I was told that if i take these things out the VALUE of the car will go DOWN and they will have to change payoff amounts and what i will get back..WHAT DO I DO HELP!? i have RECEIPTS and i dont want to lose my things it s not fair can i fight it
i was told by my insurance agent that she has to talk to the guy who did the estimate of the damages to see if he included my accesories in the retail value of the car but i spoke to him and saw the paper work he had with all the damages to repair and it said nothing about taillights- radio or rims on it. It just had amounts to repair the frontal damage so i don t understand what the problem is. PLUS isn t a car worth MORE with stock items than aftermarket?? HELP please!
I think that the Family Weddings clips on YouTube are hilarious.
zoezeph: I m exactly the same- I make an effort not to do it but can t help laughing- thinking about Peter Kay when I see friends and relations do it!
I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu. I brought it brand new. I havent had any probelms with it up until recently. Everytime I back out- or turn corners- my car makes a noise. I dont hear this noise while driving. Also- when Im driving my car feels like its jiggly- especially over bumps. i took the car for an inspection ( 2 estimates) and I was told I needed front struts ( they were leaking)- tie-rod needd to be replaced- new tires-front brakes resurfaced-rear brakes adjusted.Fee for repairs 1200. My question is Im a single female- and I dont want to get ripped off. I dont have any brothers either. How can I really tell whats making the noise? like if you need a tie rod- does the car drive any diffrent? my ride is "choppy"as well- are those the struts? Am I too hard on my car or is it time for things to start breaking down from wear and tear? Note: I drive my car ALOT- from 1 county to another at least 3x week and I travel occasionally to surrounding states.
I got a lot of responses.Thanks. If this helps any the car has 52-000 miles on it not 100-000 its just 3 years old! I drive to Pa- Youngstown- etc. I live in Lake County- work & school in Cuyahoga county closer to the Broadway side of town..if that helps any
"the girl with death in her eyes"
She strutted into my life-
Snapped my head around.
Dark brown eyes- darker skin-
I m lost and paralyzed.
I knew she was trouble-
It was writ all over her.
She was gorgeous poison-
Deadly as could be.
She swore just like a sailor-
It only turned me on.
She knew what she was doing-
Her game was very strong.
Before I knew it happened-
Trapped just like a fly.
Moving like a spider-
I knew I was through.
Got me way too easy-
Smart and deadly too.
I knew and saw it coming-
Too bad I have two heads.
Standing like a deer-
Frozen by my fright.
Had her way and used me-
Then tossed me to the side.
Took my life and left me-
I ll never be the same.
Every man encounters-
Their own poison girl.
The only real difference-
Is the way she leaves.
Are you dead or alive-
When shes through with you.
My mother-in-law is retired and drives a 2003 Honda Civic Sedan that she purchased new. The car has 45-000 Kilometers on the odometer (approx. 28-000 miles to you Yanks). She has the car maintained by the book because she has Honda s Extended Warranty. She rarely carries passengers and drives sedately on paved roads only. Her dealer advised her today that her car needs two (2) rear struts at a total cost to her of $600.00. Am I mistaken or aren t Hondas supposed to be a quality product? And why doesn t Extended Warranty cover the struts? I can understand not covering brake pads - wipers and such but not a structural component like struts. A little help/advice here PLEASE.
hondab 1 - Canadian cars and parts prices are higher than the USA. Bit of a crock when you consider her car was manufactured 50 miles down the road ( Alliston- Ontario) from her house. Even MIDAS wants $400.00 for a pair of rear shocks.
