I have an 87 Camaro and I got the suspension checked at Midas. They said I need new sway bars- shocks- and struts- tie rod end outers- idler arm- pitman arm- and to repack front wheel bearings. I would like to get it done but I dont want to waste $2grand for it. How important is it?? It rides o.k. in my opinion But do I run any risks?? If so in what order should I fix em?
The only thing I feel wrong is the shocks are dead- and everything looks old- but no bent or broken pieces.

Are there any benefits to flat feet. Because I thought about it- if there is a bad and good in everything then there must be in flat feet. i got a 65 ford mustang coupe- needs a gas tank and a strut rod.
possibly a new steering wheel- rack n pinion box-
im keeping everything stock cuz modded cars are worthless (as in not worth as much money)
i want to avoid mail ordering from used parts places and other suspicious stuff like that-
ebay- all that.
and i live in Anchorage Alaska.
shipping is my worst enemy here.

maybe its a tie rod then.

maybe its a tie rod then.

After paying for car and paper work while I drove it to return to home- the check signal was lit. Next day( it is today) morning- I went to a mechanic. A mechanic was shocked at the truth that it is passed in the PA inspection. He said that a dealer intended to cheat on me by resetting the engine and not saying about really bad rear struts condition. Also- I need to fix transmission. He recommended me to return it to a cheating dealer. I tried to contact him several times. He did not answer. What should I do? Can I return and refund my money from hime? Groaning out the frustration past- relieved with a sigh

Living in this damn world

Feverish flowerings- tickling- ready to sneeze

I got a 1997 VW Jetta GLS. Original ties size was 14. I bought a set of Kumho tires- size 17 215/45 . The front tires are rubbing against the struts. The rears tires rubber is wearing down and i didn t even have t hem on for a week. What kind of modifications can i make to make these tires fit properly....ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Also should I replace the coil springs? My car is a 1991 Camaro RS 3.1 and I m guessing the springs have aged because the ride sucks on bumpy roads.

I eat next to nothing. Around 800 calories per day. I swim miles and miles per day getting up at 6am for the bother. And i m not loosing anything. It s doing my head it.

I quit smoking nearly a year ago and that s when my problems started. I initinally lost weight cause i m lucky enough to loose my appitite when I quit smoking. Then my metabolism switched and I can t loose anything and i m on a slow gain. I ve gained 10 pounds since last year and i m freaking out. What else can I cut out? Eating all together? I m an exercize fanatic. What else can I do?

Also i m around 35. Can my age and quitting smoking have somethign to do with this?

I work sooooo hard to keep fit. Before I quit smoking- i was strutting around in my bikini- now i m terrified to be seen in my suit. I hate this.

Can my metabolism ever recover from stopping smoking????

well- ahem- this is one i heard... this chick (we ll call her amy) went to a big pool party- one where her crush was going to be at! she gets there in her skimpiest bikini- strutting- and munching on all the snacks... 10 min. later- she spots her crush- who smiles and walks over to her... while he is walking over- the pit of her stomach growls in fury!!-oh no! she has to go #3(bad deal w/the peanut butter)... the guy compliments her and asks if she ll go for a swim... nervous- but 2 excited- she tells him yes- figuring she can hold it in for a minute... so they get in the pool- splashing around & what not- having a great time. then- suddenly- the guy goes undrwater... she turns n shock wondering where d he go ?... to her horror- he zooms from underneath her- up out of the water- pushing her up to sit on his shoulders!!! when she came down on him- SPLAT!... all the diahrrea runs right down his back!!! in utter horror- the guy throws her off his back and swims away grossed out! lol
yes- this did really happen- folks.

I ve had the car for a little over a year now and the shock absorbers have finally worn out and the ride quality is horrible. I find myself confused though- I need to know if I just need to buy shock absorbers or do I have to replace both shocks and struts? Thanks people.

when I was 13 years old i had crush on this cutie so i saw him decided 2 strut in front of him but little did i kno i had tissue paper coming out of my pantz i just came from the bathroom LOL.

I know it improves less tire wear but does it also improve handling? I have a 90 crx and i m trying to make it handle like a dream. I already got it lowering springs- shocks- front and rear strut bars- front and rear sway bars. other than a roll cage does the camber kit work? I have no tire wear so is it pointless? what else can i get?

Coud it be that it is part of a strut or spring kit?

1997 cadillac deville de elegance converted to regular but coil springs sit too low in the rear but everywhere I go they can t help me I need to raise it so I can put some big rims on there the coil springs sit separate from the struts in the back but the struts in the front sit in the coil spring do i need measurements or what to go to a store I want to raise the rear like 4 inches at least and the front 2

well my car was a total loss last week and they let me remove all the aftermarket things like rims- lights and radio and replace it with the stock items. Well i also had a carbon fiber style strut bar put in just to make it match my rims and now my insurance agent is arguing with me telling me if i left it there because every car needs one. I BOUGHT THE CAR 2 YEARS AGO and drove it without the bar i just put that bar in April. My bf is telling me she doesn t know s#%$ about cars and she s just trying for a reason to lower the amount i get back. I have the receipt of when i bought it and everything how do i argue this with her because i think its stupid?? (Toyota Celica GT 2003)

Transmission Flush cost
-Alignment cost
-4 tires replaced cost
-Shocks/Struts (all 4 corners) cost

I have a few crabs. My one crab recently killed some in a shell fight he is one of the known "bully" crabs. Now I see him sitting half out of his shell a lot almost like he is strutting his stuff it seems like. Is this normal behavior after a crab fight? Or is this a sign of something else?
Also I dont know if it helps but I live in North florida where it is currently humid and the crabs tend to like the water quite a bit
Also..my other one that is shy..seems to have started hanging outside the shell in the water as well...is this a sign of molting or what? I am so confused with these crabs..
Or this simply how they take a bath?

Yesterday- we had a fundraiser for the Humane Society- and it went very well. People and their pets were having a great time- and lots of money was raised. When they were announcing the winners of the raffles- the organizer of the Mutt Strut told everyone how much I did to promote the event...when all I did was help with advertising. The real workers are the ones who go in every day and take care of the animals- volunteer medical care- help re-socalize and find homes for abandoned animals. I felt so embarrassed and for the first time in my life I felt humble. Came home and cried- almost as though being noticed was shameful. Have you ever felt this way? If so- what s your story?

Ok so i Just got new struts and shocks KYB Gr-2s and a set of Neuspeed lowering Springs. I Installed everything properly I think- and when I lowered the car off the jack stands the struts didn t compress and the rods went straight through the strut towers backs and fronts. The car does not look lowered at all and the rods just sit their all shot up in the air. Heres some pics of wheat it looks like. Somebody HELP!!

its a 98 vw golf It didnt come with instructions. can you please be a bit more specific with which washer goes where.

i have been replacing the front susspention units- the whole shock etc.
when i removed the front one you need to pull the hub down to get the strut out- when i did oil started pouring out of one of the cv joints- the one closest to the engine- when i lift the hub back up it stops. i did the other side but it didnt leak or any thing. i did notice tho that the one that leaked seemed to be a bit slack compaired to the other one.

Its all back together and seems to move fine no grinding etc- the only thing that seems diffrent is the gearbox seems harder to chang gears.

has anyone got anty idea why that happen and anything i need to do etc?? the car is not on the road at the min due to not mot etc.

i know it wasnt powersteering fluid as that is red and this oil was yellow and smelt horrible.

Ok so i Just got new struts and shocks KYB Gr-2s and a set of Neuspeed lowering Springs. I Installed everything properly I think- and when I lowered the car off the jack stands the struts didn t compress and the rods went straight through the strut towers backs and fronts. The car does not look lowered at all and the rods just sit their all shot up in the air. Heres some pics of wheat it looks like. Somebody HELP!!

My friend is selling his 91 celica gt convertable for 2-800$ its got 170-000 miles on it but is in great condition. Him and his dad are car people and have replaced a lot of parts including speakers and car perfomance parts such as a new clutch and padded flywheel- front and rear motor mounts- axles and cv joints- shocks- struts- springs- new spark plugs- cold air intake- mangaflow exahust tip- and a lot more. They also regularly maintain the engine and change the oil when needed. Im wondering if 2-800 $ is worth it- should i chance it with an engine with that many miles on it? please help!!

I have a 1992 legacy and the suspention is bouncy- so it needs replacing but it has this "height adjustment" option so i m not sure if its a air suspention. Where would be the best place online to get the proper I think "air struts" or whatever part I need to fix this car from being a trampoline?
